I have posted some owner's accounts of their experiences using DogEase and I will be occasionally write bits and pieces as they come up. I hope anyone who reads this finds the information helpful and feel free to write other helpful and hopefully supportive comments. There are some frequently asked questions below.

FAQ

How long do I keep the suit on?

Most owners keep the suit on for around 4 days at a time, taking off to wash it if necessary or just to give the pet some supervised time out of it. Then back on for 4 days or so. Please check around all the edges of the suit for any rubbing on the skin.

If the suit rides back do I just adjust it back up?

The suits can ride back as our pets move about so simply and gently adjust it back into position as often as you need. Some breeds ride back more often and thats ok, just keep adjusting them forward.

My dog doesn’t want to walk initially when I put the suit on or walks funny, any tips?

This can be quite common at the start of wearing the suit. Just offer some small treats to get them to move forward getting them used to the initial feel of wearing the suit which shouldn’t take too long.

Can I wash my suit?

Yes DogEase washes very well. The instructions are underneath the logo at the back of the neck area. Wash in 30 degrees, the bamboo should dry quickly.

My dog has long hair, do I need to worry about matting?

Always be aware that matting can happen in long haired animals. To help with this smooth the hair down with your hand underneath the suit at least daily.

What if my pet is chomping the suit?

Some animals will chew around the suit so please keep an eye on them as DogEase is not indestructible.

What if my pet is in between sizes?

We would never tell you what size to buy as our dogs are so varied, but you should use length and weight for the sizing chart and watch the fitting video to help you make your decision. Some owners say the suit is better being slightly too big than too tight and some may order 2 sizes returning one unused. Returns are only accpeted on suits that have not been fitted onto the pet so we can return them to stock.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are sent out by a fulfilment company who aim to send them within 24 hours and are sent 1st class ‘signed for’ Mon-Fri only. Royal Mail can experience delays so please leave ample time for your suit to arrive.

My 6 year old cocker spaniel Evie has found her Dogease suit so very reassuring following her spay surgery last week. It seems to provide great comfort to her, a sense of being ‘held in’ and cuddled. She gets very upset if I take it off to check her wound. As a result she has worn it most of the time and the wound is healing very well and beyond expectation. Evie has shown no interest in her wound other than when the suit is off. So much better than those horrid head cones used in the past. Also Evie has limited sight so a head cone would be very difficult for her to cope with. Our vet and vet nurse are both very impressed with the suit too and the over all job it is doing.
